About Karin Graham

I am a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and specialise in Forensic Accounting. With over 30 years of accounting experience in both large corporations and small businesses I understand the importance of preparing and supporting businesses as they look to start up, grow and maintain their performance over the long term. Where ever I go, I look to develop internal controls with the aim to limit the opportunity for fraud and reduce the risk to organisations. This experience has taken me outside of Australia to the United Kingdom and Europe, in senior accounting, project management and forensic accounting roles. This coupled with my experience in Taxation enables me to bring real life situations into my teaching, whether this be in the classroom, online or industry workshops resulting in annual ‘Teaching Excellence Awards’.

I used to be an avid skydiver (even having a malfunction on my first jump), with over 130 jumps under my belt. I hung up my parachute in my late 20’s to travel, get married and have four wonderful children. Add to this a Labrador and three cheeky cats, and I am kept on my toes. To relax, I love a good book, computer games and binge watching shows or podcasts.
