About Satsuki Roe

As a new trainer joining the team, I hail from regional Victoria, bringing with me a diverse background and a passion for teaching. I moved to Melbourne in 2012 for work and study, but returned to regional Victoria in 2016 where I met Kahn. In 2020, I welcomed the arrival of triplets, which was quite the adventure! In 2021, I made the decision to come back to Melbourne to be closer to my family.

Outside of work, I enjoy the simple pleasures like dogs, houseplants, and a good cup of coffee. I also have a weakness for tea and biscuits – sometimes I feel like I’m 95 years old! I’m a huge sports fan and will go to great lengths to support my favorite teams, even if it means undertaking a 99-hour round trip just to catch one NFL game (even if my team loses, hahahaha!). Alongside my love for sports, I’m passionate about accounting and absolutely adore teaching. I’m excited to bring my enthusiasm and expertise to the training team.

Work Experience

My work experience has primarily focused on bookkeeping, management accounting, and assisting external financial accountants for small businesses. Additionally, I’ve undertaken contracting roles within larger organizations, mainly in financial accountant positions. Since these were contract roles under my own company, I don’t have specific titles to mention. During my university days, I worked as a nightclub bartender, though I’m not sure if that’s relevant to my professional image. However, my real passion lies in teaching. I started teaching in 2022, and I absolutely love it. While I still have a fondness for accounting, my heart is currently invested in teaching it.
